Valentine's Day Inspo

 Today I have put together a little Valentine's Day inspiration collage because, believe it or not, it will be here before we know it! I know you can't go wrong with the classic bouquet of roses, but here are a few other goodies to give to the special ladies that mean a lot to you! For instance, there is an older lady I meet with once a week and I think a candle or some flowers would brighten her day!

Ice Blue

In my book, you absolutely cannot go wrong with a swing dress. They are flowy, comfy, and easy to layer and mix up. I love the ice blue color of this one, it just says, "January" to me!

As most of you know, my leopard addiction is real and I can never seem to get enough of it. (I blame my grandmother for planting it in my DNA) This vest is the most perfect of vests and I thank my friend, Celeste, for giving it to me! Oh, and thank you for the boots too, haha! In case you were wondering, she, and my cousins, are the secret to my wide wardrobe. :)

Lastly, I have to rave about this adorable mini monogrammed rose gold necklace that I got for Christmas. It has quickly become a staple jewelry piece for me. I love how dainty and feminine it is. I can't stop wearing it!

New Year!

Happy(belated) New Year, everyone! After all of the celebrating for Christmas and New Years, I am having a hard time getting back into the the swing of things. BUT, I also have so many fun things ahead of me to look forward to! For instance, my church is having their DNow this weekend. It is seriously one of the best weekends of my life. Also, tennis season is starting up and our first practice is this Saturday as well!

A goal, or "New Year's resolution" of mine is to study and learn more about God's word through a more consistent quiet time. It is so easy for me to get distracted by other things and "not have time" for it. But let's be honest, I HAVE time, I just need to use it more wisely. I know it will only get harder to find time to spend with the Lord especially when I start college in the fall. (!!!)

Sweater Weather

As I have expressed numerous times, Christmas sweaters are my favorite. They always put me in the Christmas spirit! You can easily dress it up by adding sassy pumps like I have done, or you could wear it with boots for a more casual look. Either way, you are sure to share some Christmas cheer!

Believe it or not, I was feeling entirely overwhelmed while trying to put together the perfect wintery/ Christmasy outfit to share today. For me, when all else fails, I go back to the basics. I pulled out my favorite Christmas sweater and vest combo and switched things up with these white jeans. Though it is still a pretty neutral outfit, I think it's still festive!
