Easter is almost here! I came across this dress in Dillard's one day while I was trying on something else and my mom brought this peach dress to my dressing room for me to try on. I hadn't put much thought into my Easter dress other than I knew I wanted something a bit older looking and more sophisticated. This dress fit the bill perfectly! I think it was the color that sold me. Then, as we were walking out of Dillard's, my mom spotted these fabulous shoes (so thankful we are practically the same person and share the same sense of style). One stop shopping, my favorite. Spring Fever

Am I the only one dying for spring to get here?! My family and a couple of my friends are going to the beach in 2 weeks and I am beyond excited! Today I've put together a few of my favorite beach essentials I like to bring along. I especially can't wait to wear my new Kortni Jeane swimsuit! The one I got they do not sell anymore but they are all so adorable I'm sure you won't have trouble falling in love with one.

Happy Valentine's! I am so excited to share this Valentine's Day inspired outfit! Any excuse I have to wear this fabulous pink coat, I do so. It is a hand-me-down from one of my cousins and I'm glad it found a new, loving home in my closet.

I really only like Valentines for its colors and the chocolate... But, one of my best friends told me about this (new?) holiday the day before Valentine's called Galentines? Basically it's a day you can spend with the loved gals in your life. I think this is the greatest idea ever!! My friend and I are planning on going to see The Choice and I don't know what else but I am so looking forward to it!

Today, I leave for Oxford with my sweet roommate, Lucy, and my mom to go tour Ole Miss again and to see some friends there. We are both super pumped to be living with each other next year and are having such a fun time getting our room decorations together. It is sure to be a great weekend!

White Chip Chocolate Cookies

To help you out in your efforts to eat healthy in 2016 I have a fabulous recipe for some White Chip Chocolate Cookies! They will seriously knock your socks off. These cookies are so delicious that I made one batch one day and then 2 days later they were all gone and my sister asked me to make another, and I did!

 

 

 

 

 

 

You will need:
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2/3 cup Baking Cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups Nestle Toll House white morsels

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Drop by well-rounded teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

TIP: Refrigerate for several minutes before cooking. Trust me, it makes all the difference!

Bake 9 to 11 minutes. Cool on baking sheets and tada! How easy is that?!

Tres Chic

If there were one clothing item I wish I could wear more of, it would be a cape. I think they are so darling and "tres chic!" Believe it or not, I thrifted the one I am wearing. (you can even remove the faux fur!) Striped tees and denim have been on a repeat as of lately, mostly because of this crazy warm weather we've been having, but it's such a classic look and I think the cape & pumps really step it up a notch. What is a clothing item you wish you could wear more often?

Valentine's Day Inspo

 Today I have put together a little Valentine's Day inspiration collage because, believe it or not, it will be here before we know it! Ice Blue

In my book, you absolutely cannot go wrong with a swing dress. They are flowy, comfy, and easy to layer and mix up. I love the ice blue color of this one, it just says, "January" to me!

As most of you know, my leopard addiction is real and I can never seem to get enough of it. (I blame my grandmother for planting it in my DNA) This vest is the most perfect of vests and I thank my friend, Celeste, for giving it to me! Oh, and thank you for the boots too, haha! In case you were wondering, she, and my cousins, are the secret to my wide wardrobe. :)

Lastly, I have to rave about this adorable mini monogrammed rose gold necklace that I got for Christmas. It has quickly become a staple jewelry piece for me. I love how dainty and feminine it is. I can't stop wearing it!
