Moroccan Two Piece

 //Top (I'm wearing a size large top because I like it a little bigger. Well, and that'e the only size they had:)/Bottoms /Sandals /Purse /Ronaldo bracelets //

For some reason, whenever I see turquoise and orange together, I think moroccan. It may be because of the moroccan oil hair products that are packaged in those colors... Regardless, I love the two colors paired together! I am obsessed with the two piece set trend and am always on the lookout for them. I think the two would be darling pair separately as well!

I currently cannot get enough of double wrap necklaces, like the one I'm wearing. I had a hard time finding cute ones online but they are pretty trendy where I live so check out your local boutiques or on Etsy!

Blue & White Striped Poncho

Oh my goodness! Second semester senior year is a doozy! A lot of fun and exciting things have been happening in my life lately and I am glad to finally spend some quality time with Sweet Potato Pi!

I came across this cute poncho and immediately thought, "swim suit coverup." Though it would also make a great coverup, it doubles as an adorable top! I love pieces of clothing that can be worn multiple ways and I always find that ponchos in particular are very versatile. My obsession for tassels continues and it adds the perfect summery touch to this poncho.

Senior Prom 2016

Here are a few pictures from my senior prom that was last weekend. Each year the moms of the seniors get together to put on a great night of dinner and dancing for all of the high school homeschoolers at our country club. We look forward it to each year and it is always so much fun! Shout out to my sweet date for taking me!

I actually knew what I was doing this year ;)

The details:

I love love loved my dress, link here . It is actually a bridesmaids dress, as was my one last year. (link here to last year's prom) I believe it's in the color "shadow," and the great thing about a bridesmaids dress is that you can usually get it in any color! I also couldn't get over my earrings , they were exactly what I was looking for!

Easter Dress

//Dress /Shoes /Monogram necklace /Bracelets were all gifts from family //

Easter is almost here! I came across this dress in Dillard's one day while I was trying on something else and my mom brought this peach dress to my dressing room for me to try on. I hadn't put much thought into my Easter dress other than I knew I wanted something a bit older looking and more sophisticated. This dress fit the bill perfectly! I think it was the color that sold me. Then, as we were walking out of Dillard's, my mom spotted these fabulous shoes (so thankful we are practically the same person and share the same sense of style). One stop shopping, my favorite. So if you still need a dress for church, brunch, or Easter egg hunting, check out some more cute options I've tagged below!

Today I've put together a few of my favorite beach essentials I like to bring along. I especially can't wait to wear my new Kortni Jeane swimsuit! The one I got they do not sell anymore but they are all so adorable I'm sure you won't have trouble falling in love with one.

Valentine's Day Look

//J. Crew coat(old) similar here and here /Top (similar linked) /Black pant /Black heels /Earrings (similar linked)/ Ring -My grandmother gave it to me (Thank you, Nana!) and I couldn't find one like it /Vintage Chanel purse (similar & less expensive here) /Lipstick -Bobbi Brown's 'Pink' //

Happy Valentine's! I am so excited to share this Valentine's Day inspired outfit! Any excuse I have to wear this fabulous pink coat, I do so. It is a hand-me-down from one of my cousins and I'm glad it found a new, loving home in my closet.
I really only like Valentines for its colors and the chocolate... But, one of my best friends told me about this (new?) holiday the day before Valentine's called Galentines? Basically it's a day you can spend with the loved gals in your life. I think this is the greatest idea ever!! My friend and I are planning on going to see The Choice and I don't know what else but I am so looking forward to it!

Today, I leave for Oxford with my sweet roommate, Lucy, and my mom to go tour Ole Miss again and to see some friends there. We are both super pumped to be living with each other next year and are having such a fun time getting our room decorations together. It is sure to be a great weekend!
What are your plans for Valentine's Day?

White Chip Chocolate Cookies

To help you out in your efforts to eat healthy in 2016 I have a fabulous recipe for some White Chip Chocolate Cookies! They will seriously knock your socks off. These cookies are so delicious that I made one batch one day and then 2 days later they were all gone and my sister asked me to make another, and I did!

You will need:
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2/3 cup Baking Cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups Nestle Toll House white morsels

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Drop by well-rounded teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

TIP: Refrigerate for several minutes before cooking. Trust me, it makes all the difference!

Bake 9 to 11 minutes. Cool on baking sheets and tada! How easy is that?!
